Dr. Maria Rita Corticelli.

BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Maria Rita Corticelli is the director of the Center for Genocide Studies at the International University of Erbil. She published various books and articles focusing mainly on cultural, political and social issues regarding Latin America in particular on Peru, Cuba and Argentina. She has been teaching in the United States, Latin America and the UK. She worked as editor for different researchers and scholars in Middle Eastern Studies. She is visiting professor at UPEACE, Costa Rica and at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles

  • She holds a MA and a PhD in Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin.
