Esen Bahram

BIOGRAPHY

Ms. Esen Bahram joined International University of Erbil as the Dean of Education and Head of the English Department in the College of Education. Prior to coming to International University of Erbil, she was a English Instructor at SABIS University. Esen received her B.A. in History from McMaster University and obtained her M.A from Girne American University at the top of her class. Esen’s teaching interests include English composition, business communication, poetry, drama and rhetoric and literacy. She has developed new courses as the Dean of Education. Her primary research interests are in the field of written corrective feedback and theory. Specifically, she is interested in student writing, pedagogies of experimental writing, and the intersections of rhetoric and aesthetics. Patricia resides with her family in Canada originally but has been living Kurdistan since 2014. In her free time, she jogs, plays basketball, and explores the city for good cuisine.
